Could you tell me if the DNA samples bank collected by the AHT for future research into the Pre Disposition to Primary Glaucoma in Spanish Water Dogs still exists? We have a small fund raised towards research into this. Also please can you advise if you have a Genome for SWD? If not could this be arranged?

Could you tell me if the DNA samples bank collected by the AHT for future research into the Pre Disposition to Primary Glaucoma in Spanish Water Dogs still exists? We have a small fund raised towards research into this. Also please can you advise if you have a Genome for SWD? If not could this be arranged?

All the samples that were held at the AHT were transferred to Cambridge and are safe. We have not sequenced the genome of a Spanish Water dog to date, but that could certainly be discussed.
