The CGC’s Spring Appeal for core funding

The sun is shining, the birds are singing and it feels as if Spring is truly on the way.

And we are launching our Spring Appeal for core funding.

The CGC’s research has benefitted countless individual dogs, but research is expensive. It costs about £400,000 a year to keep the CGC running and all our projects moving forwards.

For the 12-month period between April 2026 – March 2027 we have secured about 78% of the funds we need – but that still leaves a funding gap of about £90,000.

Has your breed benefitted from the CGC’s research, or are we working on a disease that is relevant to your breed at the moment?

If so, please donate what you can, so that the team can keep working on your breed’s health concerns.

And please share this message with members of your Breed Club and your friends.
