The Canine Genetics and Canine Genetics Testing teams shared a stand for a busy four days at Crufts 2024.
We would like to thank everyone who came and visited us to ask about genetic testing, to make donations to our appeal and to wish us well. It was fantastic to meet in person so many people who have donated to help support the CGC, from the UK and form further afield – we think California was the furthest that anyone had travelled!
It was fantastic to meet Joanna Bowman, who is running two marathons in April and is raising funds to support the CGC. Joanna has now reached her target of £1000 – but we think that our fantastic supporters can help Joanna raise more than that! And finally, we are very pleased to provide a wonderful update on our appeal. Since we started fundraising in earnest, about 8 weeks ago, we have raised over £150,000 and have been able to extend the contracts of all the CGC team until the end of September. This would not have been possible without the outstanding support of the international dog world, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to each and every Club, Society and individual who has donated – thank you from us all.
